WordPad is a simple text editor that allows users to read the text in very basic formats and make necessary edits. On the other hand, Microsoft Word has many text editing and publishing features. Microsoft Word and WordPad are compatible as you can easily copy and paste texts between these two applications.
When we have to choose a full-featured word processor, Microsoft Word is the right choice. Word is a better word processing program and is mostly useful for large writing projects. You can include documents with footnotes, bibliographies, graphics, or automation in Word, which is impossible in WordPad.
