Google’s continuous scroll feature now available for desktop search in India

April 11, 2023 by Dinesh Goswami Leave a Comment

Google brings continuous scroll to desktop search results

Google has now rolled out its continuous scroll feature to desktop search results in India and other countries. This feature was initially launched for mobile search in October 2021 and was later extended to desktop search in December 2022 for users in the United States. Now, users in India can also benefit from this feature that allows them to see more search results with fewer clicks.

With continuous scroll, users can simply scroll down the search results page and continue to find relevant results without having to click on the “next page” button. When users reach the bottom of a search results page, up to six pages of results will be automatically shown until they see a “More results” button if they wish to continue further.

This feature is now available in India and other country’s search results, and it may take some time for all users to see the change.

The roll-out of continuous scroll to desktop search results may have an impact on website traffic and search console data. With users now able to view more results without clicking through to new pages, website owners may need to adapt their SEO strategies to ensure that their content continues to be easily discoverable.

The continuous scroll feature is now available search results and may take some time to be fully rolled out for all users to see.

Overall, this new feature is a welcome addition to Google’s search results, providing users with a more seamless search experience and allowing them to quickly find the information they need.
