All eyes are on Microsoft’s Windows 10 Cloud PC as there has been constant gossip about its launch. A report by ZDNet has stated that the service is scheduled to go live in the summer. Presently, the cloud PC’s website is under construction and has been rumored to be named Project Deschutes internally.
Many experts think that service plans for Cloud PC will be based on hardware qualities such as RAM, processing strength, and storage capacity. This also brings up the conclusion that this update will affect desktop and laptop sales. Though it has the upper hand over Chromebooks, budget laptops may face a reduction in sales.
There has been a long wait amongst business owners to have a cloud-oriented experience on a Windows platform. It is also predicted that the service will be available remotely in conjunction with access to Office 365 with a provision of flat price per user. Currently, Cloud PC is being experimented with variable combinations of vCPUs, RAM, and SSD storage.
Windows 10 Cloud PC will surely provide a robust ecosystem to companies with a stable endpoint connection.
